Dr. Nelson grew up in Southern California, where his mother, a dental hygienist, taught him the importance of dental health. With a desire to help others, he chose dentistry as his profession. Dr. Nelson graduated from UCLA. He then pursued his DMD from Fairleigh Dickinson University School of Dentistry. After moving to Leesburg, he opened his practice, where, he continues to provide dentistry.
Dr. Nelson is honored as one of America’s Top Dentists (Consumer Research Council of America). He was voted Loudoun’s Best Dentist for three consecutive years in Leesburg Today’s “Best of Everything Poll”.
Giving back to the Community which helped build his dental practice is important to Dr. Nelson. He promotes dental health in local schools, provides dental supplies for mission trips, and He donates hygiene kits to a local charity, Mobile Hope, which serves the needs of homeless youths in Loudoun County.
An avid sports enthusiast, He was a Varsity Letterman in rowing at UCLA, climbed the Matterhorn in Switzerland, ran a marathon, tried skydiving and more. Today he enjoys tennis, skiing and Fantasy Baseball.
Dr. Nelson and his wife Linda live in Leesburg. They’re the parents of two grown children.
